- Substitute approximately the amount for Chef Paul Prudhomme’s Fork In The Road Cookbook
- Substitute approximately the same amount for Chef Paul Prudhomme’s Fiery Foods That I Love, Louisiana Kitchen, Kitchen Expedition, and Louisiana Tastes cookbooks. If a recipe calls for a sweet spice or an unusual ingredient subtract the amount of sweet or unusual spice prior to adding up the dry herb seasoning mix, then add back the subtracted ingredient(s) to the Magic Seasoning Blends® amount required for the conversion.

I have been using these seasonings for over 20 years too. I buy the blackened redfish magic in bulk because my grocery stores don\’t always have it and I won\’t even buy blackened fish in a restaurant anymore because they never do it as good tasting. My mouth waters just from the smell of cooking fish in the cast iron skillet with only this seasoning.

When the local grocery stores stopped carrying the Herbal Pizza & Pasta Magic, I stockpiled 3 or 4 of them. I moved last year, & my last jar got lost in the move! I was so unhappy…. I use it on so much & my spaghetti sauce just isn’t the same without it. It’s the secret ingredient in my often-asked-for dip around the holidays! I love these things. They are so much better than the old standby. I tried the poultry magic on turkey with a paste of garlic and sea salt and it was a tremendous hit!! Thanks for something different.
