Makes 8 servings

8 cups sliced apples, peeled, cored & cut into ¼-inch slices (See NOTE)
4 tablespoons Sweetie Magic®
3 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons cornstarch

1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup Sweetie Magic®
½ cup sugar
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1 cup (2 sticks) cold butter, cubed

How To Prepare

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large mixing bowl toss apples with Sweetie Magic®, lemon juice and cornstarch. Set aside.

In a medium size bowl, add flour, Sweetie Magic®, sugar, and lemon zest. Mix well.

Add cold butter and crumble with your fingers, fork, or pastry cutter.

Using a 9” x 13” baking dish, add the apples and then top with the crumb topping, be sure to get topping into the corners of the dish.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbles start to form around the edges of the dish and the top is brown.

Serve hot with your favorite ice cream or fresh whipped cream!

NOTE: We suggest using a mixture of Gala and Honeycrisp apples to get a variety of sweetness, tartness, and textures with every bite.
