Pineapple & Chicken Stir Fry – Salt-Free Sugar-Free Magic Seasoning Blends™


Serves 2


1 cup red bell pepper, cut into ¼-inch strips
1 cup green bell pepper, cut into ¼-inch strips
1 cup white onion, cut into ¼-inch strips
½ cup carrot, cut into ¼-inch strips
1 pound chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
6 oz fresh pineapple or canned tidbits in 100% juice (drained)
2 tablespoons Magic Seasoning Blends Six Spice Salt-Free Sugar-Free™
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup unsalted chicken broth
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

How To Prepare

Place chicken strips in a bowl and mix with 1 tablespoon of the Six Spice. Place in the refrigerator until ready to use. Mix cornstarch, chicken broth, rice wine vinegar and remaining Six Spice in a bowl and set aside. Preheat sauté pan or wok with vegetable oil to 375°F. Add reserved chicken and saute until just starting to brown (about 2 min). Add vegetables and pineapple and sauté, stirring constantly, for 4 minutes. Add cornstarch mixture and stir until the sauce becomes clear (about 2 minutes). Remove from heat and serve immediately while vegetables are still crisp. Sprinkle a small amount of Six Spice over each dish as a garnish.

NOTE: Any of the savory Salt-Free Sugar-Free Seasoning Blends™ will work well in this dish and each will produce a unique and vibrant flavor. Be sure to put a bottle on the table for use as a shake-on seasoning. Apply generously for extra flavor.
