Mexican Hot Chocolate

Makes 4 servings


2 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
6 ounce chocolate bar, broken into pieces
5 tablespoons Sweetie Magic®
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Prepare

Heat the milk and heavy cream in a medium sized pot over low heat. When small bubbles start forming along the edge, add the chocolate. Using a whisk, stir occasionally until the chocolate has fully melted and is incorporated into the milk.

Whisk in the Sweetie Magic®, salt and vanilla extract. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the stove and pour into heat-safe mugs. Serve with fresh whipped cream and an extra sprinkle of Sweetie Magic®!
