Ingredients

DOUGH
2½ to 3 cups all-purpose flour, in all
3 tablespoons sugar
1 packet rapid rise instant yeast
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup water, room temperature
3 tablespoons butter
1 egg

FILLING
½ cup Sweetie Magic®
¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

FROSTING
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup powdered sugar
2 to 3 tablespoons milk, in all

How To Prepare

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine 1 cup of flour, with the sugar, dry yeast, and salt in a large mixing bowl and stir until blended. Place water and butter in microwave, heat on high until very warm to touch, between 120° to 130°F. The butter won’t melt completely. Add to the flour mixture and beat for 2 minutes at high speed, scraping bowl occasionally. Mix in just enough of the remaining flour so that the dough forms into a ball.

On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough until smooth and elastic about 7 to 9 minutes. (Dough should spring back when lightly pressed with fingers.) Cover with a towel and let rest for 10 minutes.

Roll dough into a 12 x 15-inch rectangle. Using the FILLING ingredients, spread the softened butter over the top, then sprinkle the Sweetie Magic® evenly over butter. Roll up from long side, pinching the seam to seal. Cut into 10 equal slices.

Arrange rolls, cut side down, in a springform pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Bake for 23 to 25 minutes, then remove from oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes on a wire rack (do not open pan).

While cooling, combine melted butter, vanilla, and sugar in a small bowl. Add milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, mixing well between each addition, until desired consistency. Use a butter knife to slowly run between pan and rolls, then release the spring and remove outer spring pan ring. Drizzle frosting over warm cinnamon rolls and serve while slightly warm.
